  Maison on Windermere was the most wonderful place anyone could stay in that location. The house was immaculate on our arrival and it was everything we had hope for from the photos. Each room was decorated to a very high end and the facilities that the house has were brilliant. We loved the cinema room and because the weather was great we made full use of the well appointed hot tub and gardens, even eating outside on one of the evenings. The kitchen has everything needed for a family and the comfortable living room was great for family gatherings. Each bedroom was decorated individually and all had en-suites two of which had massive jacuzzi baths in and the other had a beautiful free standing bath in. The location of the house was excellent just a short walk away from the nearest restaurant and bar and further short walk into the centre where you were spoilt for choice for places to eat or drink. We all had a fantastic weekend and we can’t wait to go back.

  An Excellent property to thank whole family on my Retirement so wanted something 'special' which this lived up to fully, with very little found wanting.

  All facilities used to the full including hot tub modern kitchen (as we ate in most days) but also did eat at Cuckoo Brow Inn a short walk away on a couple of nights, which we would also recommend. Host did provide a 'Meet and greet' on our Arrival, which was most welcome and overall would highly recommend (especially for a special occasion) Great views towards Windermere to front and Coniston Falls to rear giving instant 'weather update' We did benefit from great weather most of the week we were there, but accommodation would suit any weather. Property very pieceful whcih was ideal (Windermere area OK but the quiet was just what we were after) and little traffic even though close to Ferry road Close to Hill Top and other attractions with many 'Walk' options also nearby

  The property was not as clean as I would have expected, there were lots of cobwebs and dust underneath and around the beds and baths, there were lots of spiders and cobwebs around the property, there was dust on the headboards. The property was generally quite tired. Some of the electric blinds didn't work which meant they couldn't be opened. There were lots of finger marks on the glass doors and windows. The TV and speakers didn't work in bedroom 2. For the price of this property and the way it is marketed we were disappointed. It is in a lovely location but needs some updating and more attention paid to the cleanliness.

  Amazing house, you couldn’t have asked for a better location a short walk to bowness center along a loverly path away from the road. Across from the property is the marina with an amazing bar and restaurant. The house was clean and tidy, comfy furniture and beds, really nice decor throughout the property, the hot tub and home cinema made it nice to enjoy an evening in the house, ample parking for your vehicles. Highly recommend this property to anyone considering staying in the lakes , we stayed 4 adults, a 2 year old and a new baby and it was perfect for us. We will definitely be booking again.

  This property is amazing. We stayed here for a 50th birthday with family, and could not have been happier. The location is excellent, with just a short walk into Bowness. The facilities in the property are fantastic, great kitchen, cinema room and plush fixtures and fittings throughout. The bedrooms were also extremely plush, with amazing bathrooms. Would highly recommend, and I’m sure we will be staying here again in the future.
